Students enjoy a ballet-based exploration of the world of dance and performing arts, drawing from a variety of international cultures and illustrious folk traditions. All classes are professionally choreographed, exposing dance theatre traditions shared from generation to generation.
Lessons are designed to improve technical skills, coordination, and concentration, cultivate artistry and an appreciation of music. Instruction also covers health and nutrition, make-up and hair for stage, video critique, theatre history, musical theatre and fencing for the stage. Students also participate in imaginative arts and crafts projects related to dance and field trips within the Presidio, including the Disney Family Museum.
Extended Care is available from 8:30am-10:00am and until 4:00-5:30pm at a rate of $15/hour or $150 for the week.
